This song is a complete DIY Folk Punk tune. We have no money, so we recorded it ourselves in our mates clothing warehouse, of which you can see how we did this via the music video. 

The song is all about making mistakes. A symptom of being human is making errors. However, it's not the mistake itself that defines you, but more how you handle the situation afterwards. Take accountability, apologise, learn, grow, be better.

It's a larey, upbeat, happy folk-punk track full of love and lessons, what more could you want really? (Other than cake... maybe that can be the next song?)

Intentionally being released a few days ahead of World Suicide Prevention Day and inspired by the passing of my friend who did so due to his own mental health struggles, "Call Me Mate" is a cathartic and vulnerable piece of work that welcomes and encourages the listener to open top and seek support in regards to anything that they might be going through.

Heavily inspired by The Streets' "Dry Your Eyes", "Call Me Mate" is a musically simple song that gets its depth via it's lyrics, and also it's heartwarming end.
