With "Poly," my debut EP, I wanted to capture the beauty of layered sounds and dynamics. Over the past year, I loved to discover the playful, unique character of the CS-80 synth. Its special sound opened up so many creative possibilities for me. I’m passionate about layering noises with field recordings and creating a dynamic flow, where the music can be calm at times and then suddenly intense. Sometimes the sound feels driven like a river, sometimes sad, wild, distracted and deep. The diversity in sound is what drives me, and that’s why I named the EP "Poly." I love the word "poly" for its ability to suggest multiplicity and more—whether it's in music, emotions, or ideas. It reflects my passion for polyrhythms and my workflow with the PolyBrute synth as well. I hope these tracks take you on an emotional journey that feels both familiar and surprising. and now, enjoy!
