Somehow these words on the not quite carefree beginning of a romance, came with it. I can't sing them, I doubt it if anyone could (but please feel free to try it... :))

Under the trees the river saw us embrace
Heard two hearts beating restlessly yet seeming safe
As the evening sun kissed the gentle waves

I've got to admit in a life time of creating this is the first piece of work on a Christmas theme i ever embarked on ! For some strange reason it just seemed poignant to do so this year after all the turmoil of covid ,the separation from family and friends.. And also a planet that's choking to death. I wish all of you a safe and peaceful time.

Sounds are generated interactively. Computer starts at random, I choose what I like. Computer then combines what I liked, mutates it at random and presents the new stuff. Whats enyoable is again selected, and so on. Some more clean defined, some raw ambient, some beat, some melody. All is then arranged and postprocessed.

The artwork shows pairs of interfering sine waves, layered upon each other. What can be seen are point clouds filled between each pair of sines. The sine waves are modulated and a pattern is generated through a genetic algorithm, again using the artists choice as driving force.
