We got five great artists and friends to swing things around, giving "Gravity Always Wins" by TX4 their own makeover.

Ousmane is a friend of ours here in Freiburg, where he came as a refugee in 2019. He first moved from the refugee reception centre in Freiburg to a shared accommodation in Offenburg. This year, he then had to move to Renchen near Offenburg. As he is doing his apprenticeship in Freiburg, this means a 3-hour commute there and back every day. Ousmane would like to move to Freiburg and friends of ours have organized a room in a shared flat for him. But as he can't give notice for his shared container room in Renchen, he has to pay two months' rent. We therefore want to use the profits from this EP to support Ousmane during this time. The overall donation target is €2000 so that he can pay the double rent for 6 months.

HEDO HYDR8 & Muskila presents their new collaborative EP, 'C', boasting three original originals and piping hot remixes from Piezo and Nídia.

Both artists hailing from the Copenhagen scene, uses the opportunity to explore unpretentious and unfltered energies throughout the EP. With ‘C’ they set out to combine Muskila’s world of playful percussion and UK Bass elements with HEDO HYDR8’s sound designed and accelerated rave-euphoria. Over the past few years, Nahash and ABADIR have been sharing food recipes, the same sense of humour, and their love for 90's rave, Beth Gibbons, Sun Ra, and grilled lamb. They met last summer for the first time and enjoyed a B2B together during a label showcase in Fano, Italy. Their memories of and appreciation for 90’s and early 00’s Arabic pop music inspired their first collaboration on SVBKVLT. Marchadair is the distillation of the meaty club sound by both producers; ABADIR’s micro-edited audio sampling and surgical chopped percussions mixed with Nahash’s lavish dub techniques and hefty bass, all serving as the main ingredients for these 4 heavyweight tracks. To close the menu, the EP features remixes by Ehua and Toumba.

The track titles play on a symbolic link between both artists and their native languages, using French words that have morphed into Egyptian slang. This Franco-Egyptian mixture echoes the hybrid sound of the EP.

Infinite Machine is happy to welcome Lyo XS with the Teyolía EP. Well known in the Mexico City scene for their advanced DJ sets, Teyolía showcases a mature and equally advanced producer.

In an ancient animistic framework where the human being is made up of three parts, teyolía is a Náhuatl word that designates the heart or the heart’s energy and represents a person’s identity, along with tonalli and ihíyotl. For Lyo XS, teyolía stands for the soul, which manifests as the inspiration that flows through her music and the intuitive reflections that arise from the soul or heart.

The EP hits the ground running with opener Resolución, a broken techno bomb with deep sound design, a driving Shepard tone-like synth and militaristic snares for intensity.

The title track is a roller with an acid lead that sounds like Energy Flash for the apocalypse, a peak-time banger that never loses its sense of groove or atmosphere in the pursuit of aggression.

Third track Reflejo pairs an upbeat four-on-the-floor with pensive pads and insistent dubbed out stabs. The beat gets broken up around the middle and along with a new melodic bassline it  would bring to mind 2-step if it wasn’t so sparse. The track’s relentless drive is occasionally interrupted by what sounds like the entire arrangement melting, as will your head.

Fourth and final track, Onírico, is a collaboration with Mexico City up-and-comer Ezeta. A low-slung groove and a loopy flute sample give the track an infectious, broken bounce which eventually congeals into a breaky chug, perfect for opening sets.
