This is my 4 hour opening set from the December edition of Group Therapy in Copenhagen (@grouptherapy_cph). I was really sick in the week running up to this party and very nearly pulled out but am so glad I made it. 

The party was a world AIDS day fundraiser raising money for AIDS-Fondet and “Ungegruppen”. It was also the first party in their new venue Den Anden Side. The vibes were incredibly special and I was honoured to play the first songs in their new home. This was my love letter to everyone we lost to AIDS and a chance to play some of my most cherished records.

After two months in cryogenic sleep during long distance space travel, the crew has awakened from hibernation to see they have arrived safely on the ocean planet of Alpha Tauri C in the Aldebaran system. In anticipation of Atom™ and Tobias' tour of the US over the next two weekends (July 29 - Stereo Montreal, July 30 - The Bunker New York,  August 5 - Surface Tension SF, and August 6 - Lunar Lodge Colorado), we dug up this set, recorded at The Bunker New York showcase at Anthology at The Works in Detroit on May 25, 2015.  This three hour live and improvised set of hypnotizing mind control music closed out Movement weekend in epic fashion.  The room was still packed when they finished at 6am.

After 10 years of doing a Friday night party at Burning Man, Honey Soundsystem decided to end it all with a bang. Normally a renegade rave happening inside the city at the Comfort & Joy camp, Honey Dusted X took to the inner playa and did a final trip out in the open. Climbing aboard the recklessly packed BAAAHS art car, Jennifer Cardini took to the decks at Midnight (a champagne toast hosted by Tickled Mink happening simultaneous around the dancefloor). A more friendly departure then the razor sharp techno set she played two nights before on the Mayan Warrior, Cardini took gay burner revelers to town with a cool blend of house, disco, and thumpers. The vibes were thick and by the time "Sueno Latino" started fading into the speakers there wasn't a queen nearby that wasn't asking who the hell just took them to church.
