Dramatic Depression

After numerous weeks of tweaking and messing round to find the best way to do so, I introduce my second official track. Once again rendered in Ableton Live 7, mostly via the default Impulse drums and an Ace Attorney soundfont I came across, and inspired by "Kuja's Theme" by Nobuo Uematsu in the Final Fantasy IX soundtrack.

Not entirely finished, as it's merely a backing track to something that will hopefully be great. Shall be worked on with a couple of extra takes to find the right combination. I'd highly appreciate it if you could suggest anything that could make it even better.

Tails Adventure - Poloy Forest (Rearranged)

Something I composed just last night as a brief intro to a podcast I'm involved in, called the Butt Bastard Brigade. It's very short, I know, but I plan to add more to it over the coming weeks in an odd sort of variable mix, so keep your eyes on this one.

Fun fact: this was actually based on something I came up with last August that I never bothered to do anything with until now. Talk about 'better late than never'. Yeesh.

Butt Bastard Brigade Intro Theme (VERSION !)

Based on a month of playing Etrian Odyssey Untold for literally dozens of hours (especially with the original FM-Synth OST), I decided to have a crack at doing my own theme, which has an Asian kind of sound to it.

As for the name, I had this mental image of this strange mix between feudal Japan mythology and... Holland, hence why the windmills mentioned in the title. I might use it in other things, if it's good enough, but we'll have to see...

Ultimate Genesis SoundFont and Super Nintendo SoundFont were used in the making of this (though just one instrument in the latter case).
