A split in the space- time continuum destroyed most of what was known of the universe. Except for a very small quadrant in the farthest reaches. A small M-class planet has destroyed all organic life, but self aware robots have been created before the planet went dead. When the space rift opened, one robot knew how to traverse through time. He left his planet and time to discover what caused the rift, and try to stop it, returning life and order to the universe. Our hero is far from his world and the technology that created him, so he has to rely on ingenuity and salvage to keep himself in working and fighting condition. An evil force is behind the rift and it is his immortal mission to find the culprit and close the rift.
