Well it’s almost ten. And I haven’t washed the campfire out of my hair. My lady calls me and says “will you be home later?” I don’t think so. You see we’re telling ghost stories of a girl we used to know. She had a nice grin and dirty blonde long hair. I’d bring you out here, but it wouldn’t be fair to you. Cause you would fall in to the trap that got me too.  
I’m ashamed to say, that I followed her down to the hollow. Down by an old tree, where the roots took over my hands. The leafs are orange and the sky is stained dark red. She’s full of magic, talks to the moon like it’s her friend. Comes out for sunsets and dances through the night. She’s got some secrets and holds them oh so tight. 
I heard she moved to a town north up the coast. There’s people like her and they all believe in ghost. She wraps her finger around a thin black piece of thread and Licks her lips to the thought of being wed. She may wear white, but it never means she’s pure. She’s so persuasive and will leave you wanting more. 
So now you see, why I want you to stay home. Don’t wait up for me, this will take all night long. Yeah her name was sage, but you can’t burn a girl like that. The smoke wasn’t good for me and left some ash upon my back. I hope she’s gone this time and stays away for good. I’ve hid my shadow, cause she’ll reap where I once stood.
