Life is exhausting. Time can be cruel and it's easy to be lost in the darkness. The demons in our heads tell us we are unworthy. Holding on becomes difficult. In these moments, it is important to understand that the sky has a million stars. There is a light, albeit far, far away. 

"No Pass" is a song about hope. It's about moving on in the gloomy path and finding a way. It's about knowing that 'these things will come to pass'.

No Pass

Formed in late 2021, Freakuensea (pronounced as frequency) is inspired by the idea that we can all vibrate at the same frequency and experience something incredible. Hailing from Mumbai, India, the band's founder & primary songwriter Abhishek Behera says that "We make music for the ones who feel like they don't fit in. They do not buy into the idea of so called norms. When people listen to our songs, we want them to feel the same sense of freedom we felt when we heard our favorite rock artists for the first time."

The band's short history has seen a turbulence of line-up changes but it hasn't slowed down their momentum in any way. During their first year (Dec '21 - Dec '22) Freakuensea released 5 singles hinting at an Alternative Rock sound influenced by Grunge Rock & 60s-70s Classic Rock. Following 2 more releases in 2023, this year can potentially bring about a new sonic era for the band as they gear up for their Debut EP expected to release in October. Their upcoming single "Unravel" which may or may not be in the EP is a comeback of sorts as it is their first single release after 6 months.
