Je vis dans un univers brouillé
Des rafales d'infos et de déchets non triés 
Qui saturent mon esprit, mes pensées 
Et me font croire que j'ai existé

C'est le prix 
De nos excès nos envies
Mais qui le sait ce qu'on désire autant ?

Dans la nuit, 
On chat, on repost à tout age
Mais dans ce bruit qu'est ce qu'on partage vraiment ?

On recoit des tonnes de likes, des messages
La dopamine en surdosage 
De gens qu'on ne connait pas d'avantage
Qui nous imposent d'être à la page 
 
C'est le cri
Des nouvelles démocraties
Le buzz a pris le dessus sur l'important

Et ma vie
Sert à quoi dans ce mirage ? 
Moi je m'en fou de mon image pourtant

Mais je sais que j'aime mon pays
Et je voudrais être utile ici 

Un matin
On se reveillera dans ce train 
Sans conducteur, sans lendemain, sans freins

Alors à ce moment là 
J'espère qu'ensemble on saura
Se regarder et s'écouter enfin

Qu'on aura 
Encore la force dans tout cela
De dessiner ce qu'on a vu en rêvant 

Car aujourd'hui

Dopamine overdose from people we don't know any better
Who force us to be up to date 
 
It's the cry
Of the new democracies
The buzz has overtaken the important
And what good is my life in this mirage? 
I don't care about my image though

But I know I love my country
And I'd like to be useful here 

One morning
We'll wake up in this train 
Without a driver, without a tomorrow, without brakes
So at that moment I hope that together we'll be able to look and listen to each other
That we will still have the force to draw what we saw in our dreams 

Because today
We chat, we repost at all ages
But in this noise what do we really share?

Made on home studio ZOOM MRS 1266, and played on Fender electric guitar, as the picture shows. Also around 2007, an attempt at proper instrumental song as I heard from Satriani, or Liquid tension experiment. Slow pick up on clean guitar with romantic solo on electric one, which nicely turn into proper heavy rock stuff, with hard riffs on both clean and distorted guitars. From there, the up-beat tempo till the very end almost guarantees heavy rocky atmosphere. I hope I hit the target set by my idols even by half, as this stuff is really hard to do without big proper studio. I'm aware of imperfections, still I feel like this should be on my "musical CV". I want to remember this stuff in case there will be some interest in doing a remake - but that's a crazy unclear and far future talk right now. Enjoy.
