The instrumental version of “Comet” reveals its pulse in pure form — no words, just motion, rhythm, and light.
Every element breathes in time with the horizon: tube-saturated kicks, chalky hi-hats, and wet reverb claps create a steady cosmic groove, while evolving synth textures and filtered pads glide through space like solar waves.

Without vocals, the focus shifts inward — you’re not hearing the story; you’re inside it. The sound builds like a sunrise through glass — immersive, hypnotic, and free-floating.

This mix is a meditation on energy, distance, and the beauty of silence in motion.

Spanish producer Rayko (@mrkrokett} has been at the top of the disco tree for more than a decade during which time he has had 50 vinyl releases alone on the cream of electronic labels including Eskimo, Lumberjacks in Hell, Whisky Disco and Editorial. He is also behind the Rare Wiri imprint which is one of the most celebrated labels of it’s genre. 

We are big fans over at LV HQ so we tracked Rayko down to his studio and prised him away from his mixing desk to talk to him about his career, his label and to get him to put together a mix for our mixtape series. you can check the interview on LV online via the link below:

The reference 55 is signed by the artist based in Madrid JGR, Julian presents two tracks called "Dansari" and "Alphard" a Dark Disco sound with slow and cosmic disco touches, powerful arpeggios and well processed sequences define the quality of "JGR" when developing his compositions.
Accompanied by two remixes by Daniel Monaco, an Italian who is currently very focused on the old Italian school's Dark Disco sound, Daniel does not stop releasing great versions and stellar collaborations which speak for themselves, great quality always.
And for the second version the cofounder of the label Aleito, if that delights us with a real bang the electronic, martyred by the same Aleito, the dynamics that gets this man are in another league, superior sound with a forcefulness out of series, great Aleito.

if you're gonna start the new year with a bang then what better way to do it than with an incredible selection of balearic tinged exotica from a long standing (and personal) friend of us, Mr Dan Wainwright and his 'Hope & Deliverance' E.P.

Lead off track 'I Love You' is all kinds of hazy wooziness & spaced out synths & pads with a slack as heck broken beat that all mixes & swirls in the right places along this cosmic journey.

Nothing Ever Stays The Same keeps on the cosmic path and goes with a dubbed out bass thump for added measure with some full on hypnotic vocal action that sews the package up and feels a bit like Moby when he was really good and not such a bell end.

Feel ups the tempo slightly but keeps things trip and demanding some sun beams at overseas festivals. This is some serious daytime dancing style tackle that will uplift & bliss in equal measures.

Closing track 'I Hope That Joy Will Come To You' is a definite message for everyone to mantra after the rubbish's of 2020. Delay drenched synth chords & kaleidoscope pads wrap around a hooky ukulele (as played live by Dan!) and a psych'd out vocal from the man himself. No beats on this at all, they're not needed. This is pure class in a glass!

Fred Berthet is this mysterious Frenchman known as DJ STEEF who produced slow & funky downtempo house tracks in the past years. Based in Marseille this quiet but not shy producer has built his way on many different projects since the early 90’s where it all started.
After composing singles with Antoine Boullé under the pseudonym Venus Attack Project (on the label US Guidance), he created the band known as Troublemakers with his friend Lionel Corsini & Arnaud Taillefert. After an over-welcomed first LP ("Doubts & Convictions" on Guidance rec) and well received worldwide, Concecration came on the second one on Blue Note (“Express Way”) pushing The Troublemakers at one of the top electronic band in the French scene.
Fred later on focused his attention on Copyshop project, influenced by the 80’s (Gomma, Toy Tonics, La Dame Noir, Numoment...). Producing now under DJ Steef its was the occasion to synthesize his musical roots such as 80’s electro pop, poisonous disco, classy french influences, insistent downtempo and up warding house. Fred has found in his alter ego DJ Steef the perfect combinasion of incredible fat, slow, funky downtempo house tracks that every body is so crazy about.Its not about fashion but clearly about style & thats why we all love his production stamped BIOMIX, in the shadows, under cover & simply outstanding.
