STUNNING!  You played this?!  Even if you sequenced it... (Ravel couldn't play his hardest works.)  I love the Major w/ flat six chord sound.  Perfect use here.  Love that you brought it back down to brooding after the cadenza like moment.  Serious Frederic:  You are MAJORLY talented.  I've known a number of classical composers.  You are uncommonly talented even in those ranks.

@lonely-piano: thank you!! :) Yes, this one needed quite some polishing work. Actually the piece was even quite a bit longer, but I decided to cut several parts. Just wanted to do something completely different, as I usually write "usual" tonal music (not to say the piece is atonal, but some harmonies are quite "on the edge") - also because I still have the assumption that the market for contemporary, "serious", classical concert music isn't as flourishing, as it was a few decades back. Still a fun project!
