Hotter than ever, Trouble & Bass brings you something totally different with "Sabor De Tu Amor," a classic Latin freestyle anthem. Santino is collaboration between Drop The Lime and artist Aerosyn-Lex, who has created groundbreaking work with Kenzo, Kanye West, Nike, LVMH, Earnest Endeavours, Jeff Koons, and so many more. The duo envisioned the perfect summer jam—inspired by Stevie B and Lisa Lisa—and set out to make it real, with shimmering keyboards, plenty of congas and vocal cuts creating a driving bed for Santino's sexy vocals.

It has been a long running gag at KOMPAKT that there is an adversity to our male staff having a mustache. The truth is that there are scarce few in the history of our company who have managed to get away with having a furry friend on their face. But due to the pandemic and lockdown, the staff Zoom meetings were confronted with an unprecedented snot mop overgrowth.

The solution was right under our noses. We had become entranced with a producer from Paris that has successfully managed to take the torch from the golden age of Gigolo fueled electro-pop and merge it with that signature Kompakt sexiness we crave and that we hope you hear in many of our club tracks.

He goes by the name of Captain Mustache. He has brought to Kompakt tolerance and acceptance for those who whistle with a bristle. Fred is anything but a crumb catcher and has an exemplary but short history of releases. Be it with Chicks On Speed, Correspondant, Bordello A Parigi or Helena Hauf’s Return To Disorder.  And now we present this fine double header. Play Paul (on vocals) joins for the title track called “Everything” and it is just that.  “Pulsions Organiques" brings a somewhat broken beat to his electro flavor saver tendencies. And an instrumental of “Everything” rounds things off for those who like it a little more lower brow.

Frederic De Carvalho feat. CS Rucker - GIRL

FREDERIC DE CARVALHO is a DJ/producer from Paris. Born in 1981, he's attracted to electronic sounds since his early age, fascinated by Jean-Michel Jarre and already dreaming of becoming a DJ. In the mid-90s, he heard "Drax - Phosphene" in a mix by Laurent Garnier on MTV. At this specific moment, he definitely fell in love with techno music. After collecting CD-mixes from Carl Cox and Jeff Mills, he decided to get 3 decks & a mixer and spent all his money in vinyls.
In 2003, he started mixing at legendary Rex Club, and writes for techno magazines & websites.
In 2005, he started music production by successfully remixing the idol Laurent Garnier in a contest.
The same year, after having worked in a major record company, he launched his own vinyl label ABSOLUT FREAK RECORDS, inspired by the punky sound of Vitalic and his label Citizen Records, and also the rough style of Tiga/Turbo Records that he booked for a party at Social Club in 2008.
In 2009, with the "french touch 2.0" explosion led by Justice and Ed Banger, he signed on Boxon Records with a powerful sound.
In 2013, after 8 years and 26 releases from signatures like Popof, Play Paul and Adamski, he gave up his label Absolut Freak.
Then, he met the american rapper CS Rucker and took a new musical turn for some years, creating together a mixture of nu-disco/funk & rap. They will be spotted by Kitsuné with the song "Rendez-Vous Disco".
In 2018, Frederic De Carvalho stopped making music under his name, and is now focused on his new project Captain Mustache, based on his first love: original electro & techno music.
