Hailing from Cologne but making his home in the UK, Frederick Ansgar is a genre bending machine, exploring his craft through his deep house / minimal productions after being inspired by the UK’s house/techno scene.

Forever finding the sweet spot with his tracks (as demonstrated on his newest EP ‘In The Echospace’) & with his mixes, composing  somewhere between atmospheric minimal & club appropriate bangers, we are proud to presents the soulful sounds of Frederick Ansgar .

New artist, new sound! Get to know Frederick Ansgar’s music.
His debut release "Newland Castle" on DP-6 Records is available now on all platforms. 
"Newland Castle" reflects the evolution of the producer's sound, his desire to experiment with new textures and atmospheres. Frederick started working on the release on the train, where he sketched out the ideas on the way home. And later he finalized these tracks over several sessions at home. Now this edition consists of three original works - "Newland Castle", "Run In The Night" and "Emrnt".  In these tracks Frederick dives deeper into the atmospheric sound, moving from hard to a softer and more melodic one.

"Monstera deliciosa, the Swiss cheese plant or split-leaf philodendron is a species of flowering plant native to tropical forests of southern Mexico, south to Panama. It has been introduced to many tropical areas, and has become a mildly invasive species in Hawaii, Seychelles, Ascension Island and the Society Islands. It is very widely grown in temperate zones as a houseplant."

The 3rd instalment of the monthly HOUSE.plants series continues. One hour of all the shades of house and a little plant info to go with it!

"Aspidistra elatior, commonly known as the cast-iron plant or bar-room plant, is a flowering species in the Asparagaceae family, native to Japan and Taiwan. This plant is highly tolerant of neglect and is often cultivated as a houseplant.

It can also be grown outdoors in shaded areas where temperatures stay above −5 °C (23 °F). Additionally, Aspidistra elatior is used in the seika form of ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arrangement."

2020 is nearly over so enjoy 50 minutes of own productions and edits I created this year. Around half of these are unreleased along with the tracks that I released this year. Everything from minimal deep tech sounds to vocal heavy house anthems and some breaks style experimentations.
