‘Conscious Listening’ is a new podcast series by Pregnant Void record label that explores soundscapes born from the connection between deep ethereal music and the most advanced electronic musical experiments. Today we welcome Faru (@faruambient) with a generous 2h20 hours mix of dreamy and relaxing soundscapes.
Faru is a Berlin-based musician, designer, and multi-disciplinary Artist. He is crafting Drone and Ambient music from his nature recordings from around the world. His works have been described as a natural orchestra in a dream-like manner. Exploring movements of nature, noise, and harmonics.

Faru - "A moment of stillness"

Inspired by the documentary In Pursuit of Silence, I got encouraged to reflect on my relationship with silence and its role.
The mix is designed to evoke a similar sense of contemplation and reflection, offering a space for the listener to disconnect from the noise and distractions of everyday life and embrace the beauty of silence.
While absolute silence may be an ideal or a theoretical concept, in practical terms, it is not attainable or even necessarily desirable.
Each track blends seamlessly into the next, creating a cohesive and immersive experience that encourages the listener to let go of their thoughts and be present at the moment. I hope to offer a meditative and immersive listening experience to reconnect to the power of stillness.

Vanilla Girl

This is a list of all the orphanage tracks, that was looking for love but found nothing but a cold, dead harddrive. While their siblings are getting picked up by shiny brands, fancy companies and artful movies, these weirdos lives a life in the shadow. "Hope" might as well be the name of a distant sun for these poor guys - out of reach and unable to provide the tiniest fraction of warmth and life.

Adoption is, however, still an option...
