In the middle of this hot summer season, Lazy Days brings you Summer Daze Vol. 1, a collection of warm summery vibes from the catalog. We gathered what we thought were our best tracks for the first in this series. Artists like Lovebirds, Spirit Catcher, Ian Pooley & Matthias Vogt, Kruse & Nuernberg feat. Stee Downes, Wolf + Lamb, Art Of Tones and even an unreleased upcoming Shur-I-Kan track.

Slothboogie is regarded as a bit of an institution, the long running London based record label and party series has been responsible for releasing forward thinking music which has helped push a new wave of artists and dj’s in the pursuit of dancefloor enlightenment.

House music underpins a lot of what Slothboogie is and what they do.

Founded in 2010 as a blog, it quickly evolved in to something far greater and now the collective are widely regarded as selectors in their own right.

SlothBoogie is a vibrant cultural force—championing underground electronic music with a holistic approach that spans curation, release, performance, and community building.

There 15 year anniversary is accompanied by the release of a new compilation which they are celebrating with a launch party in London at Cafe 1001 this evening.

Mushroom Jazz 25 - Mark Farina

We are proud to present you Art Of Tones's first EP for Lazy Days. 

AOT is the brainchild of Ludovic Llorca's, formerly known for his work as Llorca on F-Communications. As Art Of Tones, he released music on labels like 20:20 Vision and Room With A View while remixing countless artists like his great rework of Tortured Soul "You Found A Way" for our 5 Years of Lazy Days Album. 

Release Date July 1st 2013. Vinyl/Digital
This 4 track EP starts with the beautiful "Elephants", a very unique and musical dance floor treat. "Myself, My Body" goes a little darker with this gospel heavy track. Lastly, The Right Moment, brings down the tempo into a 70s influenced funk number. Also available on the digital release is the Dub of the title track "Elephants" 

Llorca is an old friend of the label and we're happy to have him as a part of the family.
