C’est face aux prairies et à un horizon clairement défini qu' Alvin Baxter a imaginé Washin' Powder. Passant la majorité de son temps devant l'écran lisse de son ordinateur, les vertes étendues ne sont pas exactement celles que l'on crois ! A force de boire du lait non écrémé, il a décidé de composer la bande son idéale du paysage de son fond d'écran. Alvin a découpé ce disque en quatre strates à la manière d'un 'landscape musician', mélangeant dans chacune d’elles ses influences house et ses constructions explosives pour inviter le visiteur à transformer ce décor en dancefloor.
