We started this track by building the instrumental around a Moog synthesizer sequenced to a driving beat—a technique favoured by the likes of Giorgio Moroder and Howard Jones. A few days later, the structure was in place, and we added an electronic violin line—but it was crying out for a vocal.  Our favourite Frenchman, Baccus, was already on our radar. We knew he’d be perfect for this French x Italo house vibe. He delivered exactly what we envisioned—the perfect vocal to bring it all together.

We’ve always loved Toro y Moi’s vibe and had been eager to collaborate with Chaz. We started in true house music fashion—with a simple four-bar loop. He sent back a chopped-up sample that was unexpected yet effortlessly cool. Such a groove, such an amazing talent. It glued into the demo perfectly, sparking a wave of inspiration. We layered in a Mini Moog for the synth bass, micro-sampled disco elements, and ran vocals through an ASR-10 sampler, blending genres as we went—disco to electro-punk to the club. This track embodies our ethos: fusing unexpected influences to create something fresh. The final touch? The classic Korg M1 piano, a nod to the ’90s UK house vibes that have inspired us for years. We wanted to make something built for the nightclub—no rules, no barriers, just pure creativity.
