In 1987 the band "Arena" existed. We made some songs and a few concerts on Orust. 25+ years later a Video tape of one of the concerts in "Henåns Aula" resurfaced from somebody's closet, intriguing me to do a remake of the original song "Down for the count" just for the fun of it. As a big bonus, the original singer Stefan "Svenne" Svensson joined in to put his vocals on. Stefan also happen to have every demo recorded from the 80s in his "vault" ;) In other words, there are more remakes to be made, and, as all four original members are getting into this retro-trip at this very moment, collaboration might spur new material to be written and released in 2015. Enjoy!

Yet another release of an Arena original to see the light of day after 25+ years of closet time. Tune written by Rob Hakemo and Fredrik Medin around 1986-87. 
This Arena reuninon re-recording (april 2014) features the vocals of Stefan Svensson, bass of Rob Hakemo and guitars and stuff by myself. Hail to the eighties! ;)

It's just a blast doing this, not only because of the fact that the original singer Stefan is on, and we do this for our own fun, but also to be able to add another bit and piece to the original arrangement to make it a bit more exciting... hopefully.
