Karla Lynch is a French DJ, producer, party-organizer and label manager, as co-owner of the Human Magic project and her new cofounded label Elektric Bazaar releasing beginning of 2024. 
Her stage name refers to the eponymous film-maker and his strange and dreamlike art.
 
She played in major clubs and festivals such as Marvellous Island Festival, Madame Loyal Festival, Badaboum, Kilomètre25, Nexus Club and across France and beyond such as Spain and Germany. 

Her first track « Red Mirage » out on the bolivian record label HEARec has been premiered on Feinstoff. 
Expect a concoction of mystical indie dance with hypnotic rhythms and dark disco with rock influences. Passing through acid house, balearic beats, new wave, shamanic techno, she blends heavy basslines, tribal percussions and retro synths. 

At the crossroads of Mexico and Berlin, she takes her audience on a psychedelic journey.

Indie Dance The Mix Series Karla Lynch

Schleichcast°44 ist vermutlich kein Podcast im klassischen Sinne. Denn es handelt sich um ein Liverecording und kein Mixtape, das explizit für den Hörgenuss außerhalb von Clubs und Dancefloors zusammengebastelt wurde. Es könnte daher gut sein, dass deine Tanzbeine etwas zucken werden, selbst wenn du dir das anderthalbstündige Set während einer sitzenden Tätigkeit zu Gemüte führst. Schleichend, aber treibend ist diese Aufnahme, welche auf einer Party vom 'Kollektiven Rahnsinn' (@kollektiver_rahnsinn) entstand. Passend zu dieser Zeit, den letzten Wochen des Jahres, denen irgendwo auch ein kollektiver Wahnsinn voller Gegensätze innewohnt. Einerseits hektisch und schnelllebig, andererseits besinnlich und zumindest der Versuch, einen Gang zurückzuschalten, nach innen zu schauen. Vielleicht willst du der potentiellen Endjahresmelancholie aber auch aktiv entgegenwirken oder in dieser seltsamen Woche zwischen den Jahren schon mal für die Silvesternacht einheizen. Egal wo du dich gerade auf der Welt befindest, ob du Weihnachten feierst oder nicht, ob du gerade happy bist oder eine kleine Aufmunterung brauchst: Wir prophezeien, dass Schleichcast°44 von der wunderbaren thea in vielen Lebenslagen funktioniert und mit einer stimmungsaufhellenden bis euphoriesteigernden Wirkung daherkommt. <3

~Zeit für ein schleichendes Frage & Antwort Spiel~

>>Wer bist du und woher kommst du?
Ich bin Thea und lebe in Berlin. 

>>Wie kamst du zum Auflegen?
Tatsächlich über das Produzieren. Eigentlich fing alles damit an, dass ein Freund mich motivierte, einen Downtempo-Track zu produzieren, den er dann in einem Berliner Club auflegen würde. Der Track war semi-geil und er hat ihn auch nicht gespielt (besser so), dafür war der Funke gezündet. Dann brauchte es nur noch, das größte Glück zu haben und schtu (<3) kennenzulernen und die DJ-Reise nahm ihren Lauf. 

>>Was hat dich für das Set inspiriert? 
Das Set ist eine Aufnahme von einer Party, die enge Freund*innen von mir unter dem Namen „Rahnsinn Kollektiv" organisierten. Noch bis kurz vor der Party hatte ich mehrere Wochen mit Covid flachgelegen und erst einen Tag vorher stellte sich raus, dass ich fit genug und negativ bin. Dann habe ich vor lauter Enthusiasmus bestimmt alle mindestens 2 Minuten lang umarmt und dann aufgelegt. Ich würde also sagen, das Set ist die Kulmination mehrwöchiger Freundes- und Tanzabstinenz und daher vielleicht etwas doller und treibender ausgefallen. 

>>Welcher Moment deines Künstler:innentums hat dich nachhaltig beeinflusst?  
Wie oben bereits angedeutet, aber weil es so schön ist, nochmal in aller Deutlichkeit: Schtu kennengelernt zu haben! Und Berlin. 

>>Welche Ziele als Künstler:in willst du noch erreichen?
Ich möchte gerne mehr experimentieren mit Klang, Tempo und Arrangement und mich doch mal an die eigene Stimme herantrauen.
