Something About Us

Scott DeWaters, also known by his artistic moniker “Freddy Wycheck”, is a diverse musician from Tennessee who has created music ranging from hip hop, lo fi, electro-pop since the dawn of the new millenium. He’s a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and song writer that enjoys a wide range of musical styles. Influenced by artists like Andre 3000 and Erykah Badu, he found inspiration after heart surgery in 2011. Scott released an EP called The E.scape P.od while working on with artists like Yung Miss, Preauxx, and ((X)). Since then, he has been compiling a backlog of unreleased tracks in his arsenal, waiting to be patiently unleashed on the right project and setting. The goal of his music is to reflect the fragility of life while also sharing the key lessons learned along the way. Those who appreciate authentic laid back yet funky music with depth will enjoy his work.
