Changing Faces

Drug deals, the street life and a fatherless home are all too well known by me. When my grandmother, who raised me, passed away, (I was only 14 years of age at that time) I only fell deeper into the streets. Often I would visit my grandmother's grave (a place I would go get high & just cry out). One night I visited her grave with my pistol & plans of ending my own life. In my conversation with God, I prayed, “If you are real & truly have a plan for me, you won't let me go through with this.” I put my pistol to my head and pulled the trigger, but my gun jammed. I tried my hardest to unjam the pistol, but couldn’t. At that moment I said, “God you must be real & you do have a plan for me.” I then surrendered my life to Jesus. The crazy thing is that once I made that commitment, I threw down my pistol and it unjammed. That moment changed my life forever! Since then, I have dedicated my life to being an christian hip-hop recording artist, evangelist & motivational speaker.
