This 1-hour international radio broadcast expresses solidarity with grassroots movements in Iran, which are demanding full democratic rights, gender equality and social justice. Globally, the Iranian diaspora has been on the streets to express support for protest movements in Iran. This radio broadcast creates space for Iranian voices and is an opportunity for people to listen.

“Tabulatura” is a 2008 indeterminate composition for sixteen pre-
recorded guitar parts and computer with custom software. It is
conceived as a system to generate different acoustic patterns.
The “Volume 2” documents eight pieces recorded live at Palazzo
Castagna, Città Sant'Angelo, Italy, in November 2020. The album was
recorded on two-track, directly on hard drive, without DSP and
overdubs.

Emiliano Romanelli (b. 1979) is an Italian musician with a background
in visual art. His work includes sound installation, live performance
and composition. His recordings are published by Terziruolo, Cassauna
and Senufo Editions. Romanelli has been co-founder of the duo Tu
m' (1998–2011).

“Rupture” was inspired by the southern Italian folktale of Tarantism,
which is said to be an epidemic provoked by the bite of the tarantula.
It causes extreme spiritual possession. 
Aki Onda composed these tracks using the traditional folk music of the region as underlays, mostly in indirect ways but occasionally directly sampled. 
The tracks were recorded with musicians Tatsuya Nakatani, Gareth Davis and Clifton Hyde. The artwork features eerie and uncanny images of the Japanese
photographer Daisuke Yokota.
