Green Lion Crew delivers a refreshing mix of summer reggae tracks for 2015. "When The General comes to town, he comes to town in a shootout!" cackles legendary Jamaican MC Joe Lickshot as the mixtape begins. The first tune is a dubplate preview of the title track from the unreleased Mr Williamz meets Green Lion Crew LP "The General Comes to Town." Bass heavy with eerie melodies, thunderous reverb and gritty delay, it does not disappoint. Also featured is an unreleased Green Lion Crew & Cut Stone Records collaboration with Kali Blaxx.  "100 Pound a Kali" samples Carlton Livingston's "100 Weight of Collie Weed" and definitely has the potential to become a current ganja anthem with an inventive take on a classic track. Featuring a "Who's Who" roster of modern reggae artists like Kabaka Pyramid, Chronixx, Michah Shemaiah, Samory I and much more, "Reggae 2015" will be a great summer soundtrack to blast out of car windows anywhere you "deh".

Original Rude Bwoy (O.R.B.) A.K.A Special Remedy - Perspective musician, whose career began in 2001. First experience with sound has quickly enough outgrown in serious music employment . With the advent of the first ragga-jungle dubplates, he has received respect among the well-known foreign musicians. Soon after it O.R.B begins dj activity. Playing mixes from his own tracks, and also exclusive foreign dubplates, he became are a success on dancefloors of Russia and Ukraine, and also the near countries. O.R.B’s choons are possible to hear around all “jungle” world. He has characterised his style as "Dark Ragga", however he says that it is not necessary stop on one style, it is better to experiment constantly
J.M.D. is the lead producer of a two person project based out of St.Petersburg, Russia.
J.M.D known as a true Junglist, always
carrying positive vibrations to the massives and
really dedicates his time collecting record plates or dubplates In such direction as " Old School Jungle ", " Nu School Ragga-Jungle ", and some "Serious Mash-Ups". The hobby
for this music has begun in 2001, but the first dubplate appeared only in 2006. J.M.D's music is known to be melodious , atmospheric and a bit to the oldschool jungle, sometimes improvising ragga-jungle vocals. Dj's worldwide use J.M.D.'s music along with other music in there mixes, and also on live performances. When playing live JMD offers St.Petersburg, Russia the sounds of Oldschool jungle and ragga-jungle.JMD together with Special Remedy aka "O.R.B" currently are working on new material For Labels and both own command of Freedem Ridah soundsystem.
MOZ - First sets i performed were in 2006. Since that day i entered Rus Zud Net and Acidsamovar crews with few tracks on net and cd compilations. 2008 i joined Freedom Ridah Soundsystem in Russia (O.R.B., J.M.D Team, MC Itah Lion and Anonymous 1) and Clashplate Sound in Austria (Osci, Dis, Max Powa) with "Original Lion" dubplate specially rebuilt inna Clashplate mix for debut "Rage EP". 2010 i launched www.soundcloud.com/global-warning-rec.
Anonymous 1-  started my musical journey as a youngin, listening to hip-hop, classic rock, punk & alternative. I got introduced to "raving" in '96 (20 years old) and dug the bass and breakbeats but then shortly after found the jungle/D&B room and an LTJ Bukem CD (http://www.discogs.com/LTJ-Bukem-Mixmag-Live-Vol-3/master/257127) and I was hooked. Started going to shows and buying mixtapes of DJs such as R.A.W., CRS?, Deacon, Heretic, Josh Swissman, Etc.. At the that time I was also really into the turntablist thing, fascinated with the tricks and sounds that could be accomplished using tables. Watching guys like the Skratch Piklz and Beat Junkies blew me away. Bought some tables and started going at it. One of my first vinyl purchases was "Toasted" (http://www.discogs.com/Various-Toasted-Massive-Ragga-Jungle/release/27177) and loved that style, but no one really made/played that sort of stuff so I bought what was available, techy D&B until about 02 when I found out people were making "the good stuff" again. That led me to countless old-school tunes that I missed out on and started collecting. Ever since, I've been refining my taste in amen fueled jungle. Spinning old-school and new-school, not to mention educating myself on the roots of it all... reggae, blues, hip-hop, funk, jazz, etc. Music's a never-ending journey and nothing puts a bigger smile on my face!!!Design is my other passion. I graduated with an AA in Digital Art and I've worked in the print field doing prepress and design for over 10 years. Most of my 9-5 work is corporate/commercial so it's nice to freelance and do more creative things for friends and producers trying to get things started up.
