For me personally, the visit of Chicago house legend Derrick Carter was the highlight in more than 12 years Play'house. A sold out night, sweaty and jacking bodies on and around the DJ-booth and a Derrick Carter that literally almost blew up the speakers and continued to play much longer than planned. Woohaa, just found one of my most favorite house tapes! A recording of RoXY loveball dating from back in feb. '93. For me, this tape catches the spirit of house (and bull's-eye-marks my time as a student rollin' in Amsterdam :) ). Nice, crisp, uplifting recordings...man, no wonder we were all caught by this...! DJ is Tony Humphries and if you listen well, I believe Joost van Bellen grabs the mike too haha. Tracks at 01:37, 14:42 and 34:55 were my absolute favs on this one!
