Tash's Movement Recordings opens the new year by welcoming Allan McLoud to the label for his debut EP. Scottish-born, Zurich-based producer/DJ Allan McLoud has been involved in electronic music for well over three decades. The late eighties found Allan fascinated with the synth-driven styles which quickly found prominence during that era; a sound which led him to begin producing breakbeat influenced electronic music, before eventually finding his true passion in trance. It was a sound which would lead him to Germany where he began DJing in the country's north and building a catalog full of releases supported by the top DJs of the time. Fast forward to present day and Allan now calls Zurich home where he has rejuvenated his studio repertoire with the sounds of progressive house. His energetic melodic take on the genre has served him well, landing key releases for John OO Fleming's Joof Aura, Droid9, LuPS Records and Transensations. Now, getting 2024 underway with one of the biggest releases of his career, Allan makes his Movement Recordings debut with 'Solitude', alongside a remix from NOIYSE PROJECT. The title selection 'Solitude' finds Allan operating at the peak of his creative powers with a main-room progressive flavor that has huge crossover appeal. Club-effective grooves and flashing percussion lay the foundation for ethereal vocal fragments, creamy melodies and anthemic overlays to forge a colourful path into the break. Building anticipation across the interlude, Allan allows the panoramic soundscapes to fully engage the listener, before unleashing the groove for an uplifting finale. Meanwhile, 'Restlessness' follows suit with a nostalgic groove and trance-inspired melodies to further elevate mood and energy across the release. Euphoric synth phrasing and swirling atmospheric effects make for an intoxicating break, perfectly setting up a huge peak-time finish. The release concludes with NOIYSE PROJECT making his label debut with the lone interpretation of 'Solitude'. Rising out of Sri Lanka's progressive house scene, NOIYSE PROJECT took inspiration from the likes of Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren to become one of the genre's most sought after artists. Releases via The Soundgarden and Sudbeat Music sit as discography highlights, while he has continued to delight fans with his impeccable taste and programming skills as a DJ. 2022 proved to be a breakout year for the Colombo resident. On the strength of projects for his Till The Sunrise imprint, NOIYSE PROJECT rose to Beatport's Best Selling Progressive House Hype artist, a position which has been reserved for just a select few across the last two calendar years. Now, getting 2024 underway in style, NOIYSE PROJECT makes his Movement Recordings debut with a huge remix of 'Solitude'. The Sri Lankan's distinctive style sounds as impressive as ever, as he takes the smooth melodic vibe of the original and re-models it into his groovy, percussive sound. Rippling bass and sprawling atmospherics are the order of the day, ultimately paving the way to a glowing, fuzzed out interlude, which eventually breaks off into a thumping drop and absolutely enormous finale.

Madloch's 3rd Avenue label is excited to welcome back Australian producer Mars Monero for the remixes of his previously released "The Mapmaker's Dementia EP". The title track receives a remix treatment by Kalima & Zambo. Kalima, who previously released two originals on the label as part of the "Three Of A Kind EP" at the end of last year, has also made remarkable releases on labels like Hoomidas, TRYBESof, and The Purr. His partner Zambo makes his production and label debut on this remix.

The talented St.Ego, who needs no introduction, delivers another quality remix. In less than two years, he has become one of the most prolific producers on the label.

For "Copacetica," Argentinian producer Aske Izan provides a remix. Aske Izan has previously released on our label as well as on The Soundgarden and For A Memory. One of his tracks was featured on Balance 031 mixed by Tim Green.

Closing the release is Australian producer James Martin with his exceptional remix. Last year, he was one of the winners of the Sound Avenue remix contest for Madloch & Subnode's "Hybreath".

Clubsonica Records opens the month of March by unveiling the fifth edition of their Sampler Series. Following its debut in 2021, Clubsonica's Various Artists Sampler Series is now a regular and much anticipated offering in the label's catalog, fitting nicely alongside the MMW and ADE showcases which operate under a similar ethos. The trending series has been a platform not only for a wide assortment of upcoming talent, but continues to add some of progressive music's most notable names with each successive edition. Genre veterans Golan Zocher, Greenage, Kamilo Sanclemente, Ric Niels, Ruben Karapetyan, amongst others, have all graced Clubsonica's much sought after Sampler Series, sitting alongside a carefully curated blend of talented up and comers. Now embarking on their fifth edition, Clubsonica boss Juan Pablo Torrez has compiled the series' most comprehensive volume to date.

The first selection is Erich Von Kollar. Much like many progressive house producers, the Debrecen resident has recently revitalized his career with a string of organic-focused productions via Amulanga and Nordic Voyage. With a well-received release via Ruben Karapetyan's RKP imprint to begin the year, Erich now makes his Clubsonica debut with the smooth hypnotic sounds of ‘Vertical Maze'. 

Selection two finds NAHS alongside Martin Fredes. On the backing of support from genre tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, the Argentinean duo have become household names in the global progressive house scene over the last half decade. With a sound that incorporates a perfect balance of melody, groove and rhythm, NAHS and Martin have racked up impressive resumes in the process, with standout releases via Mango Alley, Plattenbank, Sudbeat and The Soundgarden sitting prominently on their respective discographies. 

The collection's third offering is Nic Rinaldi. Hailing from Colombia, Nic Rinaldi first emerged in 2021 with a release via Madloch's Future Avenue. The next two calendar years would see Nic continue to develop his sound, adding projects with 3rd Avenue and MNL to his discography. Also well regarded as a DJ, Nic has been a fixture of his country's nightlife since 2017, sharing the booth with international talents such as Kevin Di Serna, Oliver Koletzki, Quivver and local heroes such as Clubsonica label boss Juan Pablo Torrez. Now continuing to trend on an upwards trajectory, Nic adds Clubsonica to his resume with the rejuvenating energies and trance-inspired melodies of ‘Night Rider'. 

Next up and is Sensy with ‘Masquerade'. The Ibiza resident's impeccable selections and ability to seamlessly program Organic, Progressive, and Melodic House & Techno into his storytelling sets, is what has ultimately set him apart from other local DJs. Renowned venues such as Carpe Diem, City Hall, Pacha, La Terrazza, amongst others, have played host to Sensy's unique amalgamation of sound. As a producer, Sesys is at the beginning of his journey, with a 2023 release on Amber Long's Modern Architect sitting as his lone debut offering. Continuing to work on his production craft, Sensy now opens his 2024 schedule with his Clubsonica debut ‘Masquerade', a track which incorporates the nostalgic sounds of old school progressive house with a timeless vibe throughout. 

The final selection welcomes TAYLAN with ‘Sonoma'. Immediately recognized for his astral sound, TAYLAN would go on a creative swell across the next two calendar years, landing key projects via Beatfreak, Manual Music, Steyoyoke and more, making him a rising talent to watch going forward. Increasingly prolific in the years to follow, TAYLAN's sound caught the attention of long standing imprints such as Movement Recordings and Univack, which further established his elusive sound.
