For REC008, we have the honour of showcasing an exciting artist from Switzerland: Manuel Moreno. Manuel has been active in the scene for many years, with releases on labels such as Ritter Butzke, Amaeo, Hive Audio and Kamai Music. In addition to being an active resident at Hive for over ten years, he is well-known for creating iconic brands such as his event series 'Au Revoir' and co-owning the agency 'Send Return'.

His two-track EP 'Elysian' highlights his diverse range of sounds. The title track impresses with a steady groove, captivating chord stabs, and layered synths that demand attention — the perfect closing track for any set. 'Swedenborg', on the other hand, reveals his darker side. A hypnotic, rumbling foundation is elevated by the magnificent voice of Natasha Waters, resulting in a track that will shake dance floors.

To round out the release, two exciting producers join the Reconsider roster. For the main track, Predex, a promising producer from Istanbul, gives 'Elysian' a melodic yet groovy touch. 'Swedenborg' is reinterpreted by none other than James Harcourt, who transforms it into a dark, tribal dancefloor belter with his signature progressive sound.

We are thrilled to welcome Ras Algethi back to the label with his latest 2 track 'Cirque EP'. With previous outings on ICONYC, Lost on You and Art Vibes Music to name a few, the Russian producer is no stranger to the scene with his driving melodic progressive influenced productions. We kick things off with the outstanding opening track 'Herculesus' a stunning driving melodic techno affair, that employs a deep groove as the basis of the track underpinned by a deep bass that gradually eases its way to the breakdown before unleashing into a rising melodic hook that climaxes into the highpoint of the track as the full force of percussive drive and harmonies combine to see out this great opener. Exciting and essential stuff! Next up Ras drops the outstanding title track 'Cirque'; that starts to delve into deeper more melodic territory, which sees lush pads fused with chord hits highlighted by Ras Algethi's trademark bass patterns, before all manner of varied melodies weave in and out of the stereo field that find the right balance between house and techno to make it an ideal all-round weapon. There's really not much else to say, we'll just let the music do the talking. With pounding melodic arrangements that are so warm and driving, Ras Algethi underpins his status as a true craftsman with the excellent 'Cirque EP', which is certain to find its way into the playlists of the big-name brigade. The always fantastic Saint Petersburg bound producer Ewan Rill makes a welcome return to our PHW Elements family with another 2 originals under his belt. Being one of the most productive artists out there in the genre, creating a huge amount of deep driven progressive music that blends from progressive house to melodic techno he once again strikes with full power.

As the lead track of this EP we have a really quirky and well produced number baptized as “Population”. It’s a well driven progressivE house production packed with really deep and moody textures that blends perfectly with the flying melodic hooks. There is a bit of techno elements in it as well to make it even more interesting and we do love everything about this beauty. 

On remix duty we welcome back Italian native Elven Of July to the label. We have always had great thoughts about Augusto as he is a producer, very selective with his sounds and blends his music with super cool textures and his creative mindset. This rebuild is no exception as he is on roll from start to finish. This lean more to the melodic house & techno genre with his crisp sounding percussion work and creative build up. If the deeper side with atmosphere is your thing, well, don’t miss out since he is back and he strikes with full power. 

We also have another debut on the label and one that we had on our radar for a long time and when we got the chance to bring on Australian female producer and DJ Ebony Willis, we just couldn’t resist. We are thrilled to see her team up with us and hopefully you are a few more that will get to know her music through this as well. With a big love for melodic techno music, she strikes with an army of sounds through this Ewan Rill remake. It has great pace, energy and that melodic progression throughout this stunning journey. We are so thrilled over this one and we hope for a lot more from her coming our way really soon.

We also see a second original from Ewan Rill to spice things up even more. Through “My Ways” he continues to showcase his full on journey in the genre and we do feel this is another biggie from him, don’t miss out.
