The act of Freek Funk came into life through a series of housewarmings throughout the 00s and 10s. Two close friends with a love for small-scale raves became partners for what would become a quest for the ultimate party experience. Every housewarming they invaded kitchens, bathrooms and hallways which were regarded by the vast majority as a non-raving site. But with the imagination of these two bohemians they turned every place upside down and transformed it into a garden of eden for the lost millennials. When you encounter them in their natural habitat they will indulge you with a variety of shazams, rare gems, future classics, guilty pleasures and long lost racks IDs. With this unusual mixture of exotic rhythms and euphoric melodies they are marking their territories. The fruit of their livelong quest resulted in what we now call “Freek Funk”. It soon got it’s recognition and became a household name in the housewarming scene. Nowadays they seek shelter in any grotto that they can breathe in with some new euphoria.
