Make some Noise! 

Theme: Create a piece using noise as your main (or only) audio source. 

Submission window: Monday 4th March -> Monday 11th March (23:59:59)

Background:
Noise comes in various forms of randomness and color. Experiment with noise as your main audio source, or if you like the added challenge, as your only audio source this week. If you do not own or do not want to use the tangible waves NOISE module, feel free to send external noise audio signals into your AE Modular instead.


The challenge is set, and runs during the submission window set out above, however, please feel free to add entries or leave comments after the initial challenge has ended.

Each entry should contain:

    Link to audio or video example (embedded preferred)
    Short (or not so short) patch notes, explaining how you have built on the above theme



Your entry can be as short/long as you wish, a simple sound or a track, use external fx or synths, do what you can in the time you have - go wild, make the challenge yours!
You are welcome to use previous entries, as inspiration, build on them to form something new, or just use in a different way, you are welcome to submit multiple entries.

If you are posting on social media (youtube, soundcloud) , please tag with #AEChallenge and #AEModular, and include a link back to the challenge thread here on the AE Modular forum.

Maya in a Black and White Room - AE Modular Patch Challenge #9 Make Some Noise

The challenge was simply to play something that came to mind when looking at the picture (which is out of my studio window, using an IR filter).

All parts were improvised, although it took two passes as I couldn't set everything up at once. The AE Modular part is actually two sounds recorded live at the same time - one is a sequence from the SEQ16 with a well-modulated NYLE FILTER and the other is a Bastl Kastle using the same modulating LFO patched across and the whole thing passed through a modulated SVFILTER. Then there are the Mellotron parts, all played live but afterwards.
