Part two of Intrigue's annual compilation features more of the same quality, deep production the label has become renowned for. Artists this time round include Lurch with the ultra jazzy 'London Bridge', through to label boss Ben Soundscape's foray into moodier territory with 'See a Shadow'. As always there are some newer names too, with Perth's Confusious, Melbourne's Soul:Motion and Bristol's Sam Binary/Deviant making their Intrigue debuts.

Ben Soundscape's debut EP is without doubt his most accomplished work to date, featuring four exceptional rhythms sure to destroy any dancefloor. As many will know Ben has been taking to the airwaves during the past few months with his weekly Intrigue livestream, showcasing his trademark sound. Fans of Intrigue will no doubt recognise these tracks from the streams and the clubs before that.

The 'Sentimental Journey' EP takes you on a journey through the intricacies of his production styles, kicking off with the heavy hitting and highly sought-after title track. Crisp, driving beats and atmospheric pads combine with a vocal hook, building to an epic drop with distorted moog and juno bass sounds working together to create the groove.

Following this is the underground jazz anthem 'Whitewine' co-produced with RoyGreen & Protone and featuring the incredible vocal talents of Collette Warren. 

Next is 'Rays', an uplifting and chunky summer roller, then to round off the EP is a brand new highly captivating work entitled 'Take it Down', which was recently completed during lockdown.
