Queer Base is an organization based in the TürkisRosaLila-Villa in Vienna aimed to socially and legally counsel LGBTIQ+ refugees that arrive in Austria. Together with Freeride Millenium a solidarity compilation is coming out on July 30th where all profits will be donated to Queer Base. This broadcast is in different languages that represent the languages of clients in order to reach out to their communities to understand: You are not alone! There are people that speak your language, have your culture and are the same as you are! Different aspects will be highlighted in a discussion such as present the organization itself and having testimonials from clients. Radmila Nikogosian from the St. Petersburg duo Delicate Features will take you on an abstract pop journey fueled to be a fast emotional rollercoaster. In a further step we talk about intersectional racism within queer communities and how to cope with these feelings from an perspective in Arabic. Stepping musically up with slow disco and space downbeat is Amy.G.Dala from Germany. Faris Cuchi will continue the discussion and talk about how and where to find mental health and reach out to the community. The closing set will be a disco supernova with futuristic and uplifting house by Jenouise who is one half of Zombies In Miami from Mexico. All talks were initiated by Marty Huber.
