Pauli Pocket schaffte in den letzten Jahren den Sprung vom Berliner-Geheimtipp zu einem deutschlandweit gefragten Act. Neben regelmäßigen Gigs in Sisyphos, Watergate oder natürlich ihrer Homebase, dem Kater Blau, standen im letzten Jahr u.a. auch große Events wie das SonneMondSterne Festival, das Garbicz oder das Feel auf dem Programm. Doch auch im Studio verbrachte Pauli Pocket mit ihrem Buddy Daniel Jaeger 2018 viel Zeit und veröffentlichte gleich mehrere Nummern auf Labels wie Moonbootique, Katermukke oder Heinz. Mit „Pockets Rockets“ hat sie zudem ihre eigene Veranstaltungsreihe im Kater, bei der sie regelmäßig für ein volles Haus im Berliner Spree Club sorgt.

Horror Sound Effects Library for sound design is released!

While in Lisbon I captured these incredible sound effects on a floating pier. The water moved the pier up and down what creates these natural but unworldly sounding sound effects.

A dream for any sound designer! Nothing was processed or manipulated! You get the real sounds. A few recordings were recorded on the Zoom H6 in 9624 but I went back again with the new Zoom F6 and recorded all files in 192kHz-32Bit. Now you can stretch the files as much as you want, play around with it and create something totally new!

For more clarity within the recordings, I also used the AKG C411 contact microphone to avoid ambience!

I'm sure you are going to have lots of fun with these new sound effects!

Ah, the Monochromatic Gordon Gekko... The 80s villain and 90s ironic hero...  I suppose you could consider this my critique of the 90s via the 80s... but mostly I just had fun making 80s synth sounds.  I took a couple of 80s motifs and tried to make them my own.
