"Infinity Plus One is neither a man of big words, nor a man of massive musical output, preferring to remain low-key. The tracks finally presented to you on this EP are bold and bare a distinct character of their own. The opening track "Struggle Is A Constant" is energetic and probably more current than ever, whilst tragically soundtracking recent pandemic times. „Suburban Subversion” remains airy and dreamy as an A2 follow up. The B-side then picks up the pace with "Connected", before the “9th Gate” works towards a gentle and jazzy finish. These four tracks were carefully selected from Infinity Plus One's creative period between 2001 and 2005. They display a diverse repertoire of sounds from the London based artist, whilst at the same time also expanding the soundscape of our Molar label. Thank you for your support, we love you."

MOL04 - "Regeneration EP" by Infinity Plus One

This summer will see the launch of Anthea’s latest brainchild, PILLZ, the diverse label will sit comfortably as a sub label of the prolific Partisan outfit, with the A&R being carefully curated by herself, and long time friend Velasco hailing from NYC now Berlin based. The label is aiming to be a safe haven for straight edge, and innovative sounds from a selection of rising talent, and simultaneously friends and artists they have met along the way on their journey together. 
Inaugurating the release is the talented Francesco Carvetta, his debut outing is an impressive showcase of his gritty, and discerning sound, but always maintains a danceable approach. Four chunky and distinctive cuts spread across the vinyl EP. 	
 
Diving in at the deepest of ends is the sub heavy “”Part Of The Call” a chugging bass line remains at the forefront of the tracks as spaced out synths simmer around the heart of the track. Next up Carvetta takes us on a journey of “Midnight Travel”, otherworldly voices converse with the emphatic structure of the track, steering you safely into the small hours of the night. A stripped back trip of dusty nostalgia with the B1, “Minds Power”, blurring the lines between trance and techno infused with a touch of modern day class, nodding towards the after party moments. Last but not least is “Petra”, crammed with raw tenacity, layered with dark and serious tones breathing life into the enormous bass arrangement. 

Deep and mysterious energy kicks off what is set to become an integral label in the coming years, sitting comfortably as the sub-label of the prolific Partisan imprint. PILLZ is officially born!

Perfect Timing kicks things off in a big way with this amazing piece of art created by John Manhard. Melancholy, sensuality, happiness, and passion among many other feelings are felt throughout this incredible EP. Making cues from jazz, old-school hip-hop, breaks and cosmic funk this dynamic 5-track EP conjures up a nostalgia-fueled compilation of transformative early eclectic influences, raising the bar on production from one single artist across multiple different genres of music.  A1 is the emotional-euphoric party jam with the track being called “My life is a walk in the park”.  The A2 “You can only see me after dark” slams a drum and bass track that takes you to the dance floor in the jungle.  Flip the wax for the prime-time classic soul soothing John jazzy house track B1 “I go there to look at the spruce”. On the B2 you will find a soundscapey ambient electro-jazz top vibe “But my name is not Bruce”.  To impeccably close the release, the well done B3 track “I am the scariest man at the park” sends a wave of mystery, that transcends you to a place with a deep nostalgic feeling.

A truly special one for the real heads. A timeless essential for proper lovers of vinyl and good music.
