Best friends since childhood, Anëk originate from Copenhagen, Denmark and is the first female duo to be welcomed to the exclusive VIVa MUSiC roster. With over 10 years of experience DJ’ing and producing , Karina & Denise, who now reside in the UK and France are far from unexperienced in the house music scene. From a young age the two friends found their passion and calling in electronic music, and from 2001 have wasted no time pursuing a career doing what they love most.

2014 was a great year for the DJ/Producer duo, being residents at the VIVa Warriors weekly parties at Sankeys Ibiza and travelling around the world with the VIVa Warriors brand and playing Sankeys in London, Manchester, as well doing a vast amount of independent shows and festivals.
They have played a great amount of big venues across the globe including making their debut at Fabric, The Egg & MOS London, Cafe d’Anvers (Belgium), Culture Box (Copenhagen), the showcase VIVa VS Moon Harbour in Barcelona

For the April Moon Harbour Radio Show, host Dan Drastic invited the girls from Anek, whose ‘Rebellion EP’ was just released on Moon Harbour. Anek is Denise and Karina Jensen, and in recent years the Danish pair have become a key part of the scene, not least in Ibiza. It is there they have been residents at the VIVa Warriors events as well as being picked for the Emerging Ibiza festival.

Dear followers, friends, fans & passers-by,

Time is running FAST especially when you decide to jump on ‘our train of techhouse’ called LOCOMOTIVATION! And in full satisfaction and loaded with endless ENERGY we are happy to bring STATION 3 for the month March.

During the upcoming period we have planned some nice gigs and we are especially looking forward to the beginning of April when we will travel to Venice to play during a fairytale wedding. And we will go there by plane (not by train) :-P

This month we have made another selection of basslines that will make your body shake and we are convinced you will feel them pumping through your veins from top till toe.

And just to inform you…The first edition of LOCOMOTIVATION @ Club NL (on Saturday February 23rd 2019) was just off the hook and therefor we directly planned our second edition which will take place, again @ our favo Club NL, on Saturday June 29! We say: Just the IDEAL festival after! :-)

For Volume 105 we are stoked to present one of our favourite DJ's and Producers in the game, a man who's been doing the damn thing for many years and it shows in his mixing and productions. 

‘J.Cap’, as he is affectionately known as among friends in the industry, boasts an impressive catalog of releases on various labels such as House 4 Life, Cabbie Hat Recordings, Caliber Sounds, Well Hung Music, Blue Town Records, and Doin’ Work Records dating back to 2006. In addition to holding it down in Dallas, J.Caprice has performed in various cities across the U.S. such as San Antonio, Austin, Chicago, Indianapolis, Lexington, Green Bay, Nashville, Miami, Portland, Kansas City, Omaha, and Denver, and headlined alongside some of the biggest names in the industry [Tommy Largo, Jason Hodges, John Hawley, Scrubfish, Jay West, Donald Glaude, Demarkus Lewis, Sista Stroke, T Mixwell, Real Time Hand Motion, Wattie Green, Angel Alanis, Nigel Richards, Stacy Kidd, Doc Link, J.A.M.O.N, Karl Almaria, D-t3ch/Jazzmopper J, Johnny Fiasco, and Corduroy Mavericks].

He now runs the super dope house music label Simplistic Music Company which features tracks from J himself, as well as other globally recognized artist such as Stranger Danger, Housego and Demarkus Lewis to name a few.
