I think subconsciously I did this after watching the movie "Moon". Didn't meant to but I think it came out after thinking about space and what a head trip the movie is. A lot of arpeggiator going on throughout. Wanted it more sparse actually, but I can't help myself to go overboard even when it's not needed. Hope you enjoy and thanks for listening.

Moon

Haven't had much time lately but found some time to mess around on the ipad. Used iMS-20. It was fun. Of course, no where near as good as the master of the iMS-20, Mr Gladstone. : )

Wired

One I've been working on that I'm not that happy with but don't think it's junk, so putting it out there. Put the great late George Carlin's "The American Dream" on it so like it a bit better. Middle and end are too long, wanted the end more punchy, a bit sloppy...oh well, too lazy to go back and fix it and keep messing with it. If it ends up being work and not fun, then there's no point to continue. On to the next one.....thanks for listening though.

The American Dream

Took the audio from Lou Reed's final interview. I cut it up and matched what I wanted first over the simple drum kick. When I recorded the guitar, it was suppose to be for ideas and I liked what I had. It's the first take, so it's sloppy, but I liked it, so I kept that and didn't change it. Didn't want to make the drums or anything flashy, just real simple. Plus Lou says you only need three chords for rock and roll, and that is all I used.
I don't know how many bad rip off's I have done of the Velvet Underground's Heroin, but there has been a lot. Rest in Peace Lou......

That Old Laughing Devil

Was looking for a voice over for something I was working on, and at the time was only a minute long. Discovered Hollie on Youtube and her work is pretty amazing. Instead of snippets, I worked with this whole poem. With kind approval, Hollie let me use it. Thank you Hollie! It is kind of ironic that I use electronic instruments in a poem about connecting with nature. Hope you enjoy, thanks.
