Lyric is formed by Lyza and Ericson, who translate their shared passion for the rhythmic and rolling techno to the dancefloor as residents for Selected (Berlin). Besides bringing their flow through mixes and sets, Lyric also show their potential with their recent releases on Selected and Room Lab, among others.

This joint project is the lovechild of the two artists, focused on fast and driving, uplifting rhythms, using three decks to maximum effect. Their discography includes releases on labels such as Canticle Rec., Influenced Rec. and Room Trax. Their work has been supported by artists such as Rodhad, Rene Wise or Pan-Pot and they will certainly not be the last.

Podcast 047 by Stuttgarts finest Rove Ranger

Love, peace and unity – the famous words of a movement that very much attracted Rove Ranger as a child to electronic music. Listening to early Schranz and Techno back then, it is no wonder that the sound of Rove Ranger is defined by fast-paced percussions and high energy.
Starting out as a producer in late 2007, he extended his musical spectrum over the years from EBM and Industrial to the likes of modern Techno. Always striving in musical variation, he started Rove Ranger aside his previous projects in early 2019 by focusing on sounds who he admired back as a child. Rough, dirty and compromiseless rhythms coupled with hypnotic melodies are just a few words to describe his vision of techno, of which he makes no exception on as a music selector too.

Gwo Ka is music born in Guadeloupe and stands for big drum. It is the union of music, dance, and spirit. 
Two drummers are playing a specific rhythm as the base. The “Makè”, the third drummer, is placed at the center to follow, feel and whisper any of the dancers gestures. He matches the rhythm and energy of the dancers, becoming their shadow, and establishing a real dialogue between them. 
With my project I want to translate the rhythms of Gwo Ka in every upcoming mix. 
There are seven specific rhythms.
This one is "Mennde", dedicated to celebration and escape.
