Hello, welcome to my profile as an electronic music composer. My name is Jérôme, aka Freq Shield. I was born in 1987 and originally from Lorraine. I moved to Beaujolais in 2009.

My inspiration comes from many hours of listening at festivals and concerts around the age of 16 with numerous artists. I then went on to more or less legal techno parties, festivals in France, Italy, Belgium, and Thailand, followed by a few psytrance parties and festivals. A definite fan of electronic music culture, in 2006 I started producing progressive techno, mostly downtempo, 90% of the time, at 120 to 140 bpm. I'm a member of the "Esprits Déserteurs" collective (a group of composers from Nancy with whom we've released three albums online) with this name : sanskrit,minimal driver, ou encore zdroumf. Over time, I've played at several raves and techno parties in France. Then a short break for the children in 2016, and in 2024, they slowly returned to making music and playing it in public.

Mon inspiration vient de nombreuses heures d'écoute dans des  festivals, des concerts vers 16ans avec de nombreux artistes, j'ai enchainé avec les soirées techno plus ou moins légales, les festivals en France, en Italie, en Belgique, en Thaïlande puis quelques soirées et festivals psytrance,  définitivement fan de la culture musicale electronique, en 2006 je me suis mis à produire de la techno progressive plutôt downtempo à 90 % du temps de 120 à 140 bpm. Membre du collectif "esprits déserteurs" ( groupe de compositeurs de Nancy avec qui on a sorti 3 albums online avec les pseudos sanskrit,minimal driver, zdroumf). Au fil du temps, j'ai joué dans plusieurs raves et soirées techno en France.
Puis petite pause pour les enfants en 2016, 2024 de retour tout doucement à faire de la musique et à la jouer en public.
