◾How did you come up with your dj name: My DJ name stems from the first letter of my name, and that Vitamin D is essential just like I'd want my sets to be essential for the dance floor
◾How and when did you get into djing: I picked it up over the COVID-19 pandemic period after 20+ years of being deeply involved in electronic music as a fan. Everyone kept asking why I wasn't DJing when I had such a good ear for good music. It eventually just happened and I haven't looked back.

◾Who are your musical influences and what is your inspiration:  Trance has always been my first love in electronic music, going all the way back to when I was a kid listening to BBC Radio 1 online on the weekends. My musical influences go back pretty far with artists like Armin van Buuren, John 00 Fleming, Solarstone, and John Digweed. Lately I've been a big fan of the music released on FSOE UV/UV Noir and Settlement.

◾Describe your sound as a DJ: I like to step away from the sound that most people think of when they hear the word "trance" and focus on the deeper, underground, side of the genre rather than the higher BPM uplifting energy that most people think of.

◾What does the future hold in store for you as an artist: I'm working to continue to grow CYBERIA - A Night of Trance and Progressive, the bi-monthly trance and progressive event I throw here in Asheville at The White Rabbit @ Water Street. I look forward to playing to new crowds and in new spaces whenever possible.
