Crazy Nutz Music presents: SONAR 2025 – A Global Tech House Celebration from Barcelona. Every June, Barcelona becomes the epicenter of global electronic culture during the iconic Sónar Festival. Inspired by this vibrant gathering, Crazy Nutz Music proudly presents SONAR 2025, a compilation that pays tribute to the international spirit and creative connection the event represents. Featuring 14 artists from Colombia, Spain, Mexico, Venezuela, Brazil, the United States, Italy, and Austria, this release showcases the rich diversity of today’s Tech House scene, bridging cultures through rhythm. Each artist brings their unique perspective and sound, blending Latin rhythms, tribal percussion, minimal grooves, and hypnotic melodies. From seasoned veterans to emerging talents with fresh ideas, this VA captures the pulse of contemporary dance floors and reflects the continuous evolution of Tech House as a universal language in club culture.
Let’s talk a bit about each artist:  We start with our CEO Arnau Ariza with his song 'Electrizante', with a sound that is more than identifiable. Our DJ and producer has managed to rise among the highlights of the city and has earned the courage and respect of great artists such as Marco Carola, Paco Osuna, Chelina Manuhutu or Stefano Noferini among many more to play his productions. also has played throughout the national and international scene. Gianni Ruocco (Colombia) has over two decades of experience. He has shared stages with icons like Carl Cox, Paco Osuna, D-Formation, and Carlo Lio, and released on top labels like Toolroom, elRow, Stereo Productions, and Snatch!. His sound elegantly merges house sensibilities with techno energy and has earned consistent support from the scene’s heavyweights. Vinary (Spain), based in Huelva, stands out for his versatile Tech House and Latin Tech sound. With releases on Happy Techno, Baikonur, and Hotoven, his tracks have been supported by Chelina Manuhutu, Don Diablo, Jamie Jones, and Mihalis Safras. His style is marked by warm grooves, crisp percussion, and an infectious energy that ignites dance floors. The lineup also includes: Sout Garcia (Mexico), known for his Latin-flavored minimal groove; Janis Amenti (Colombia), a multifaceted artist with shows in Tulum and NYC; Kardox (Brazil), a strong minimal tech presence with global support; Lenn Wated (Spain), the label’s A&R based in Barcelona; Jay Cara and Juanfer Mejia - (USA), delivering a fusion of Latin roots and modern Tech House; DJ Hern (Mexico/USA), a Californian artist with Latin soul; J Aristi (Colombia), a young talent with a sharp vocal-driven style; VISO (Venezuela), with lush melodies and strong dance floor presence; Noël Patrianelli (Italy/Argentina), internationally active with a unique flair; PURO LIO (Spain), a Barcelona-based duo blending tropical, Latin, and African rhythms; Stranger (Italy), a minimal purist from Romagna; and GABRI&SILVE (Italy), an Afro-Tech artist from Capri known for their percussive, tribal energy.
SONAR 2025 is much more than a compilation—it's a love letter to the city of Barcelona and its central role in the global electronic scene. Each track mirrors the intensity of that magical week where music unites cultures and breaks down borders. With this release, Crazy Nutz Music reaffirms its commitment to innovation, diversity, and the global expansion of Tech House.

DUTARI and ADD 2CART join forces on “Music Matters,” a collaboration that encapsulates the essence of modern Tech House: precision, groove, and message. Crazy Nutz Music curates this encounter, cementing its reputation as a go-to platform for refined and functional club sounds in the European underground. With a creative direction that spans visual design to editorial strategy, the label has built a strong identity, positioning itself among the most respected in the scene.
DUTARI contributes a transatlantic vision shaped by years of experience across Buenos Aires, Mexico, and Ibiza. His journey from progressive and trance into a more minimalist, groove-focused Tech House has forged a distinctive sound identity, tested in clubs such as Cova Santa, Pacha Barcelona, Mute Mar del Plata, and global venues like Pacha Ibiza. His releases on Be One Records, Happy Techno, Circus Recordings, and My Techno Weighs a Ton have earned support from names like Wade, Miguel Bastida, and Joseph Capriati.
ADD 2CART, on the other hand, is synonymous with technical strength and conceptual focus. With over three decades of combined experience, the duo has released on labels such as Baikonur Recordings, Not for Us, and Trax Mission. Their style merges minimal tech, house funk, and functional Tech House, inspired by artists like Gorge and Nick Curly. Their DJ sets are known for their impact across both Argentine and European circuits.
The lead track, “Music Matters,” lays down a firm, dry bassline with a powerful sub-frequency presence, setting the stage for a spoken vocal with old school flow. The narrative recalls West Coast ideologies, Tupac's philosophy, and mental strategy as a tool for transformation. The vocal sits front and center, unembellished, offering a sense of immediacy and authenticity. The groove remains stable yet dynamic, with secondary percussion adding character without cluttering the mix.
“Witza,” the second cut, introduces a melodic layer with a smartly used rhythmic trumpet that adds texture, flavor, and versatility. This instrumental element dialogues with introspective, content-rich vocals: “New mentality, yeah it’s got me ready for war” resonates as a statement of intent in a sonic environment that blends urban grit with introspection and rhythm. Technically, every layer is calibrated to function on high-end club systems without sacrificing expressiveness.
With this EP, Crazy Nutz Music delivers more than two club-ready tracks—it presents a cohesive editorial vision with aesthetic direction and conceptual depth. Simon Jaxx has been playing and producing quality minimal techhouse and electronic music for over 30 years. He starts his musical career and background in the age of 5 year, when he learned to play Piano and Violine. During that time he was trained to play without notes and improvise by ear, to feel and express music. In the early 90ies he buyed his first analogue synthies and started to produce electronic music, infected from the detroit music stuff. His music has appeared on many compilations all over the world and 1998 he starts his first electronic music label "Bunka Records". In this time period he worked and played together with international DJ`s like Damon Wilde, Claude Young, Steve Bug, Felix Da Housecat and many more at different places in the world. 2008 he starts his digital label "Frequently Music" open minded for Newcomers in the worldwide DJ- and Clubscene. Simon Jaxx is well known for his minimal deep techhouse stuff and DJ-Sets, who rumble the dancefloors.
