First off it's Spain's 'Zuat-Zu' (Sophisticate Recordings) whose remix of ‘What I Want’, features deep harmonious synths, an infectious bassline and solid drums wrapped around a memorable vocal refrain. Then we have 3 Deep Site debutants, 'Matthias Korr' (Society 3.0) whose remix of ‘What I Want’ takes a Chicago approach by utilizing the original track’s stabs and melodic aspects while updating the strings and bass.Next up a huge honour to welcome Glasgow Deep House legend Calum Walker with his Fresh &amp; Low Remix of ‘Lazy’ dripping of classic Chi-town funk with its soaring strings, piano stabs, and tough percussive characteristics. Smallville Records sub-label Fuck Reality storms back with an eclectic batch of dancefloor excursions courtesy of Super Jim Z on 'Fuck Reality 06'. Having first connected with the Australian producer while touring the country in 2016, Smallpeople now tap Super Jim Z for his first outing on the label. Here we are introduced to the rhythmic creativity at the heart of Super Jim Z's music, fusing deep bass lines with driving percussion and intricately woven textures. Smallpeople had this to say about the new material that he sent over: "We were blown away and when we played them out at our monthly residency at Golden Pudel in Hamburg, we decided to gave them a home on our Fuck Reality." And we're oh so glad these tunes have a home. Tip!
