Double D &amp; Plappermaul sind "Ein Team für sich". Mitte der 1980er kennen sich die beiden Offenbacher Hip Hop Fans vom sehen. Während Plappermaul aka Blabbermouth bereits in den frühen 80ern die Nachtclubs (Funkadelic, Karanga, und andere) in Frankfurt und Offenbach rockt, ist Double D als DJ in der Deutschen Szene unterwegst. So begegneten sich beide 1988 auf einer Hip Hop Jam in Mainz und bemerken das sie in Offenbach die gleiche Schule besuchen. Man bleib in Kontakt und entwickelt ein enge Freundschaft. Zwischen 1998 und 2005 konnte eine Reihe von Tracks entstehen von denen einige hier zu finden sind.

5 Tracks von 1994, die nie offiziell erschienen sind. Wir nahmen damals ein Demotape für ein Majorlabel auf, welches aufgrund der Texte und Themen abgelehnt wurde. Das Ganze entstand in Frank Farians Studio, glücklicherweise ohne seine Anwesenheit, dafür mit Benny Braun an den Reglern, Big Up! Das Ganze diente uns im Endeffekt als Vorbereitung für das "Jetzt platzt die Bombe"-Album, welches später erschien. Da sich im Lande wohl noch ein paar verstreute A16X-Fans befinden, hielt ich es für eine gute Idee, das Ding mal hochzuladen. Dazu gibt es "Aus'm Keller" als Bonus. For your listening pleasure. Der erste Track den Plappermaul und ich im Jahr 1997 gemeinsam aufgenommen haben war "Alles für die Kutz". Da die Original Aufnahme auf einer Tascam Bandmaschine aufgezeichnet wurde ging sie verloren als wir in die Digitale Welt wechselten. Die Original Version war durchaus noch energetischer als dieser Remix...finden kann man sie auf dem Mixtape Brennertrax und in einer kastrierten Version auf dem Offenbacher Hip Hop Sampler "Lower East Side - Offen Offenbach"...

Big shout to Sarkis for sending this one over to me to have a little play around with. I thought the original had a real nice vibe and just needed a little bit of tweaking structure wise so grabbed the stems and put together this fairly simple edit with all the usual intro / outro, looping kinda stuff we like to do.

Sarkis Feat. Jilian Batt - Too Far Gone (Dj XS Extended Edit)

Ein Artist, der unbenannt sein möchte, hat mir die Tage diesen Track geschickt. Der Text wurde an einem Tag in der Frühe geschrieben und nachmittags aufgenommen. 

Wiederverwendet wurde ein alter vom Künstler selbst produzierter Beat aus dem Jahr 2015, der den gleichen Sample wie der Hip Hop Klassiker "you never knew" von Hieroglyphics verwendet.

Ich finde den Song fett und empfehle euch mal reinzuhören

Ein Versuch

Obviously a big Bill Withers fan like most and sad to hear of his passing last week. His catalogue of awesome songs is immense from feel good classics such as 'Lovely Day' and 'Lean on Me' through to stone cold groovers such as 'Who is He' and this bad boy, 'Use Me'.

Slight update of my original edit that I posted a few years back and more in keeping with my current dj'ing style so thought I'd offer it up as a Free Download for those who like the shorter cuts.

Fresh-Stuff-Production oder einfach nur Fresh Stuff - ist das Label von DOUBLE D.
DOUBLE D ist seit Mitte der 80er Jahre als DJ in der Deutschen Hip Hop Szene unterwegst und produziert seit den frühen 90ern eigene Tracks. Begonnen hat alles mit Mixtapes, die er sehr Erfolgreich Weltweit verbreitete. Als dann eine Bandmaschine und ein Akai S950 mit dem Atari ST verbunden wurden nahm alles seinen Lauf... Am aktivsten ist Double D zusammen mit Sägaflex, seinem guten Freund und Synt_AX-error Partner. Aber auch andere MC, Musiker und Künstler werden und wurden von DOUBLE D produziert und gehören zur Fresh-Stuff Famile: MC Plappermaul, Caiman Caith, Meta Barone (Astral, Don Shericon, Tron aka Eiskaiser), DJ Flow aka Floriginator und andere... Nach und nach wird sich diese Seite mit Produktionen aus der Vergangenheit und Gegenwart füllen...Stay Tuned =) ... #diggindeep4freshstuff ...
