So, now and then I get the urge to go back and tweak past projects, over the past year I’ve done this with three of my Broken Robot tracks, ‘Activation’, ‘The Signal’ and more recently ‘Collective’ as I thought it’d be great to put some of the guitar by Stewart Colley on it that we recorded for the down tempo Origenic version.  Really excited to be able to share with you these three alternative versions of these tracks which I’ll be looking at releasing very soon.  I’m calling this the Renovated EP, which I’ll potentially be doing a volume 2 of if there’s enough enthusiasm for it.  Hope you enjoy!  John.

I've not changed much music wise in these tracks but I have made improvements to each mix, most notably improvements in the low end side chaining, the drum balance and transients, also keeping sounds more level throughout.

Within the Stream - The original version uploaded to Soundcloud was never actually released, an alternative mix was put out which I came to feel was inferior, this version is more in line with that original upload (which would also be the one featured in a lot of the sets by Hedflux, Bad Tango etc at the time).

First track in ages produced with my bro nOcTuRnAlIsT. This is a new project for us, slightly different sound from what I've been making here which could go in all kinds of directions. We're going to work on another track soon with more hard trance influences. We're thinking about potentially releasing these tracks through a label or labels, it's early days, if you're running a label and think this sound might work for you then send us a message and we'll consider going with you!
