Milano Sun continues to produce dreamy tracks with a psych feel. If "Boomerang" was a sweet summer breeze, "Eldorado" is a more intense piece of pop music. With a typical Peter, Bjorn & John-beat and a dreamy hook, the songs takes us on a quest for gold. Vocals drenched in delay and a chorus for the ages while make Eldorado into Milano Sun's own city of gold. The second track "Romeo & Juliet" is a more mellow ballad that would have made both The Beatles and Pink Floyd jealous back in the days. All in all, this multi-single contains two widely different, but both beautiful tracks.

During an eurotrip three boys decided to start a band together and write one song in each city, in a park in Milano they decided to take the name Milano Sun. After releasing their first single “Already Gone” in 2012 they immediately gained recognition from both national and international critics although what started out as a story of three friends starting a band on a bench in Italy, slowly faded away and shortly after their debut EP “Scandinavia” the band continued to gain reputation, but the band went on a hiatus.

After some years apart working as producers and musicians, Milano Sun returned with the track Boomerang in the spring of 2017, which now is followed by a two track single with main track "Eldorado" follwed by "Romeo & Juliet". A full album will be released early 2018. Milano Sun consists of David Axelsson, Johan Jonasson, Love Sivik and Zackarias Ekelund.

‘Bad Faith / Good Faith’ is the second single to be released by Cambridge musician Gavin Chappell-Bates from his forthcoming second album. In contrast to the first single released from the album, ‘Bad Faith / Good Faith’ is a philosophic indie-dance-rock anthem to get you dancing and thinking.

The song was inspired by the philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre’s concept of ‘mauvaise foi’ (bad faith), which explains how humans live inauthentically by allowing societal pressures to force us to disown our innate freedom and adopt false values. 

‘Bad Faith / Good Faith’ is a call to arms to all humans to accept their individuality and their ability to always make their own free choices, and, ultimately, live the life they choose. It is a call for authenticity. 

As part of forthcoming album ‘The Last One’, which was successfully crowd-funded early in 2017, it is one chapter in a wider story exploring the cycle of life, both human and cosmic.

The thought provoking lyrical content is rasped out by Gavin in a barrage of words, reaching climax in the chorus when he asks us all to choose: “Bad Faith / Good Faith – decide”. 

Despite the heavy themes in the song, it is a snappy and upbeat anthem coming in well under 3 minutes. Short and to the point, the words may have you thinking but the juxtaposing jagged indie guitars and driving rhythm section will get bodies moving, minds open and us all dancing freely.
