If a track you submitted does not appear in this list, it’s probably because another of your tracks appeared in our Fresh Faves or on the BBC Music Introducing Mixtape during the last three months — we ask that artists featured on either wait three months before resubmitting to give others a chance. 

We also don’t accept short previews or SoundCloud Go tracks that can only be heard as 30 second previews, and tracks made private after submission, which cannot be included in playlists. You will be able to resubmit the track in future. Tracks (and remixes of tracks) that have been previously submitted, and tracks from banned artists will also be removed.

This is my new single. It is called Take the Time and features the wonderful Lauren Kinsella on lead vocals. 
Lauren is an Irish vocalist and composer. Her current projects include the band Snowpoet, who released a wonderful record called ‘Wait for Me’ last year and ‘Skylla’ with Ruth Goller which is a fascinating listen. 
I am so grateful she agreed to do this track and couldn’t have been happier with the outcome.

ALKYLATE are a 3 piece teenage Heavy Alt/Grunge band from Milton Keynes. 

The band members (Charlie, Kyle & Evan) met while forming the UK’s youngest Nirvana Tribute, Nerdvana. They have been touring at Venues and Festivals across the UK for the last 18 months and working on their own original music in the background. 

Their sound is influenced by a wide range of artists from the Grunge, Rock and Alternative genres. You can expect Catchy vocals, crunchy distorted Basslines, heavy drums and huge sounding guitars.
