If a track you submitted does not appear in this list, it’s probably because another of your tracks appeared in our Fresh Faves during the last three months — we ask that artists featured on either wait three months before resubmitting to give others a chance. 

We also don’t accept short previews or SoundCloud Go tracks that can only be heard as 30 second previews, and tracks made private after submission, which cannot be included in playlists. Wedgy returns with a post-punk inspired tune, Stitch The Line, stripping back the instruments to allow a centre stage for the distorted vocal modulation and huge fuzz lines. Stitch The Line symbolises the dive into heavier sounds, more vocal presence and much more distortion.

Liverpool (UK) producer Montao returns with a cinematic story of fantasy, myths, and legends. 

His unique production style shines through, as usual not conforming to sit in one single box, using elements of his favourite influences and sounds. 

Bridging the gap again over the 'pond', this time teaming up with underground Hip-hop juggernaut Napoleon Da Legend, and the Goddess MC herself, Sa-Roc. 

Unsurprisingly, both rappers spit nothing but pure fire within the orifice of Montao's soundscape.

Overall, it's another strong addition to his catalogue, and showcasing his never ending diversity and courage to explore new ideas.

The new single drops ahead of his debut album ‘Echoes of the Cosmos’ due out Friday 25th October.

"Fade to Black" is a collaborative music and film project. The song was written, recorded and performed by David Kay at his home in South Cumbria. 

The music video was written, directed and produced by Samuel Mason, starring Grace Heap and Ronan Thorpe-Monaghan, in collaboration with director of photography and producer Finn Clifton and executive producer Russell Liney. 

The project tells the story of someone stuck in the limbo of their own nostalgia, as they try to reconnect with the past.

Released Friday 6th September.
