I want to touch base with my last comment "lol sorry about that" This is not my greatest set, its flawed. But, even though I am my own worst critic, I love it still. To me music, like people, are essentially flawed in all their glory. It has to be about the people, has to be about the vibe, has to be about the energy. We need to take the business out of the party ;) lets spend less concentration on concentrating and feel again!!! ;)

One of the more ear-catching producers to come out of Spain of late has been the Barcelona-based Dj/producer Miguel Bastida. His sound is one crafted for the underground: Deep, rolling techno that is as moody as it is groove-based. Check out his productions on labels like Sci+Tec, Toolroom, Bedrock, Trapez and Deeperfect to understand why some of the scene’s biggest hitters all approve of Bastida’s heavy dancefloor gems (Paco Osuna, Dubfire, Riche Hawtin and Umek are just some of those on the Bastida-train). He also runs the techno label Be One Records which has silently churned out some of the more interesting techno to date since its inception in 2011. For his Balance Selections podcast the Spaniard has turned in possibly our most driving podcast of the series, a selection of techno and tech-house cuts that is meant for the big rooms, all crafted together in a one-take live recording which showcases his talented CDJ skills with fx and smooth transitions...

Growing up 3roc his partner introduced Mattrix to the underground scene and showed him the essentials to mixing. Since then Mattrix has been hitting the decks for over 7 years putting together Tech House sets with his Iberican sound style and adding flavors of dark techno. 

Sup y'all. I have been on a trip for a long time. I am coming around though. Music is prob saving my life yet again. Sorry to anyone who felt abandoned, I had many reasons, but, one major positive from it was me getting out of the downward spiral of constant drug use that I had been on for a decade or longer. This story has a lot to it, but for now I will leave it at that.
