So how's summer? Mine's just fine. This song kind of proves it.

So it's been a month since my last upload...I've gone rusty! So yeah, I decided not to sing all of the KagePro songs because I can assure you my voice cannot achieve the level of highness in "Heat Haze Days." So this will be my second (maybe third) to last upload for the KagePro series. 

The first couple of times I sang it was just so BAD that I deleted them again and again. In the end, this sufficed and I have to admit it's the best I've done in a while considering I haven't been limbering up as much as I used to. The original vocal track was recorded before summer, I just never had the chance to put it together until now. I added in a lot of effects this time, but no autotune. I just added some echoes and a few parts I equalized. But yeah, enjoy the rest of your summer cause I'll be trying to upload more when I get the time!

a childhood favorite of mine. probably have been in love with this song since I was 12. i've been going through some of my old covers and choosing which I'm itching to remake. and hands down this one was a standout pick. it's still not a perfect cover, much more jazzy than what i normally sing, pronunciation and timing still off in some places lmao but I always enjoy singing this one. enjoy the audio peaking in many places lol

jdhsbfhjdfgb this was a test to see how high I could pitch my voice(it turned out...eeeh?) lmao i was an alto in my choir days so this was a challenge. i covered this one before in my facebook era and one person liked it which still means a lot to me today. i think it's an important song. i opted in to be an organ donor on my driver's license as well which i think can still be scary for some people to think about ahead of time.

i wasn't planning to remaster this one, but i thought about the one dude who liked my cover of it years ago, which I deleted because it sounded...ugh...lol..so this remaster is in honor of that dude lol i might delete this cover too in a few years lol

slowed acapella cover for moon river that I had always wanted to do, but just never got around to it. I remember sitting by myself at the beach years ago and trying to cover moon river on my ipod touch...I ended up deleting the files. sometimes the recording just doesn't sound good enough for publication. i think i'm a little easier on myself now, but I used to hate how...for lack of a better word, "imperfect" my recordings were. i don't know if i'll do a cover with bgm...i'll think about it.

a karaoke/off-vocal version doesn't exist for this sort-of obscure song? the soundtrack includes an orchestral version which was not what i was looking for. i was watching snoopy, come home and this was the opening theme and i was so struck by it, i wanted to cover it. led me down a rabbit hole for flint's discography which was an enjoyable find.

in the style of julie london. i was thinking of doing two versions of this, this softer cover and a more louder version with some oomph. i ended up deleting the oomph file cause i was unsatisfied with it, but i might try again later. hopefully, i aligned the mix correctly. the twangs confused me for a while. i'm not great at timing or mixing lmao so long as it doesn't sound like dissonance, my ears go "okay, good enough" lmao

i was listening to 21 for the first time around the time i was 21 myself. i drew a lot of sad art because of this song lmao i was not in a relationship at the time but slowly losing my sense of self to doom and gloom and it still pops up in my memory once in a while. i'm closer to 31 now lol

i didn't know what to draw for the cover so the buzzwords I latched onto were "called" and "haunted" lol

decided not to cover in full cause the latter half is complicated and I would have to overlay my already confused vocals on top of one another so...no lol
