It didn't take long for Providence to put the rest of the country on notice to begin the 2003-04 season. The Friars opened the season by winning eight of their first nine games, including an exhilarating victory over Illinois in the 2003 Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden. 

During this episode, Billy Ricci and Kevin Farrahar continue their conversations with Ryan Gomes, Marcus Douthit, Sheiku Kabba, Donnie McGrath, and Bob Walsh. They discuss the non-conference portion of the schedule, which included the thrilling win over Illinois, taking out an eventual Elite 8 team in Alabama at home, defeating Pete Gillen at Virginia, playing at URI for the first time in over 30 years, and the 8-1 start that set up a classic against Rick Barnes and Texas. 

Friar fans will relieve one of the truly great nights in Dunkin Donuts Center history in a behind-the-scenes look at the wild game against the Longhorns.
