Thats BB, right? Sounds nice, the brass has a very lifty sound. Did you used any specific mic setting or just default trees? I read that BB lacks of true FF layers, how you handle that?

' MANHATTAN SKYLINE ' -  commissioned by Semper Fidelis Orchestra and Ludovic Minne - is a work in which multiple soundscapes sensitively evoke the first impressions one feels when discovering and exploring the city of New York : rhythms , colours, panoramas , vastness and jazz coexist and challenge each other.

Gordeeva's Elements : Water

This piece is a marimba concerto that talks about deterioration and death. In its multiple instances of perpetual descending lamento, the audience is exposed to a world which is slowly dying, all the while observing its gradual decay.

The word Laibach is an old Germanic name for Ljubljana. It shares its name with the avant-grade Slovenian rock band from the 80', and also contains the name of the late composer J.S. Bach. The band was an inspiration for various foreign material quotation and recontextualization techniques, while Bach's Brandenburg concerto No.6 was the material that was manipulated and repurposed using algorithms. Thus baroque perpetuum mobile gets alienated from its original context and given a new perspective. It becomes an artifact of the times gone by, which we look back upon with a sentiment of nostalgia. 

This piece has been dedicated to my mother (and in a way to my whole family that has Slovenian heritage).

Laibach concerto je djelo koje govori o propadanju i smrti. U višekratnom ponavljanju neprekidno-silazećeg lamenta, publika je suočena sa svijetom koji polako umire i pritom promatra samog sebe kako se raspada.

Laibach je staro germansko imde grada Ljubljane. Svoje ime dijeli s avant-gardnim rock bendom iz 80', te ujedno sadrži ime pokojnog skladatelja J.S. Bacha. Band je bio inspiracija u vidu korištenja raznih tehnika citiranja i rekontekstualiziranja stranog materijala, dok je Bachov Brandenburški koncert bio materijal koji se manipulira putem algoritama. Tako je barokni perpetuum mobile postao otuđen od svog originalnog konteksta i stavljen u novu perspektivu. Time isti postaje artefakt minolog vremena na koji gladamo nazad s nostalgijom.
Ovo djelo je posvećeno mojoj majci (i na neki način cijeloj obitelji koja vuče slovenski korijene).

Laibach Concerto

This is my music composition submission for the Berlin International Film Scoring Contest 2019 (BIFSC 2019).

Each participant received the Video and three Sound Design Audio Files to choose from and had to compose the original music for the film.

It was not easy to compose atonal music for the first time... but the struggle was worth it! I've learned how cool dissonances can sound if you use them in a coherent key-less language.
