The idea behind "The Boxx" is the sampling of instrumental performances of internationally renowned musicians from all around the world performing live into a prestigious apartment in the old heat of Turin, during the Turin Jazz Festival days. The Boxx produces an intriguing music library which is sent in real time to producers around the world, so that they can deconstruct, modify and reassemble it with the objective of creating new music.
The music tracks produced by this unique virtual orchestra are part of a series of vinyl records and digital releases showcasing the unique interaction between jazz virtuosi and electronic music producers.
